THINKING ,FAST AND SLOW
HELLO MY DEAR FRIENDS ......
INTODUCTION : We as humans, we tend to evolve each and every day ,there are a lots and lots of inspiration books to read . One of my favourite is “THINKING FAST AND SLOW” , written by the author DANIEL KAHNEMAN.
TABLE OF CONTENTS :
1) 1 line summary of this book
2) favorite quote
3) the main lessons that we can learn from the book
4) my review ( conclusion )
5) who would I recommend this book to read
6) when to read this book
ONE LINE SUMMARY : This " THINKING FAST AND SLOW " shows you how 2 systems in our brain are constantly fighting over to take control of your actions and the way you behave and it teaches us many ways in which it can leads to errors in judgement and taking decisions and what you can do about it .

FAVOURITE QUOTE :
* His 2011 book " THINKING FAST AND SLOW " deals with 2 systems in our brains ,whose fighting over to take control of you . it shows where you should and shouldn't trust your gut feelings and how to make decisions so that you won't regret later .
2 GOOD LESSONS THAT I LIKE THE MOST IN THIS BOOK :
1) your thoughts are determined by the 2 systems in your mind - one is AUTOMATIC AND SUPER QUICK and other is CONSCIOUS
2) Your brain is so lazy and comfortable ,that it never wants you to come out of comfort zone .

REVIEW ,OPINION,WHAT I THINK ABOUT IT :
1) SYSTEM 1: It is automatic and impulsive. this system 1 is like a rabbit in the rabbit and tortoise story. where the rabbit runs and stops at one point likewise this system 1 takes quick decisions without thinking and leads to some bad errors and decisions in our life. like example did you ever think about it “what makes you eat the entire bag of chips in front of tv when you just wanted to have a bowl , system 1 mainly focuses on FIGHT OR FLIGHT situations “.
2) SYSTEM 2 : It is aware of everything . its like tortoise , it is slow but it knows the end goal and how to achieve it ,so this system 2 don't make quick actions ,rather it thinks and analysis and gives the best outcome .
CONCLUSION : however when these 2 systems work together the end result will be fruitful ,even though they are perfectly alternate ,but they do work each other but they often fight over who is in charge and this results in our behaviour .
* so there is a funny example in this book , here it is
- a baseball bat and ball costs $1.10 , the bat cost $1 more than the ball .how much does the ball cost.
even without thinking we say $0.10 .
think again BECAUSE its not the answer ..........
after thinking for a while or you just spent a minute you will get to know the ball cost $0.05 ,combined $1.10
$1 +$1.05 =$1.10
interesting right !........
when system 1 can’t handle the tricky problem you will end up making mistakes . so the combined team work is important here .so when system 1 can’t handle things it activates system 2 and they work together to give best outcome .
WHO WOULD I RECOMMAND : for everyone who is bad at mental health
WHEN TO READ THIS BOOK : when you want to avoid taking wrong decisions, by reading this book you can able to balance your mind and can take good decisions.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOK :
DANIEL KAHNEMAN was born on march 5,1934 (age 89) Tel Aviv ,British mandate of Palestine .he is known for his cognitive biases behavioral economics prospect theory ,loss aversion .he is such an expressive writer ,who really admires and describes the real life situations .his books and the amount of work he puts into his book should be appreciable .his books are really thought provoking ........
