Make Believe: Part-2

Amy and Nick are now passing through a testing time, they both are preparing to appear for University entrance tests for courses of their choice. Amy is clear and has already decided to pursue law; Nick is waiting for some luck to be selected in any available course.

Amy is a happy child, She scores high in all subjects, and is in the good books of all teachers; she manages to make time for her hobbies and in creative arts for her own pleasures. Whereas Nick hardly has any hobbies and if so he has no time for that even though he does not study most of the time. He only indulges in overthinking.

Why is it so different for these two kids of the same age, same school, and living a similar lifestyle?

Well, that is because Amy makes her beliefs happen and Nick believes and accepts he cannot do or make things happen as he thinks.

Make belief is a sense of assurance one individual gives to oneself that what one thinks or wants, it will happen like that; by no one else but oneself. It is a surety, a genuine willingness to make things happen our way.

The make-believe ability cannot be learned, it develops when we study when we put in true efforts when we continuously work hard and hard to turn results into what we want. It is a process that every individual has to undergo.  and this belief can happen the moment one decides to bring about a change, a new you. ready to work and come out of the comfort zone one has been living in.
Amy has her one mechanism to overcome all situations because she was a person of action, she decided upon something and then acted upon it.

On the other hand, Nick depended on outside sources for motivation, push, and assurance for his works. Which does not work after a certain age, as little children our parents, family, and teachers help us with our learning, academics, walking, and everything else.
So, my dear get up, take the call and act.

Thank you
