Why do we need to explore space ?

Through space exploration, we gain a new perspective to study Earth and the solar system. We advance new technologies that improve our daily lives and we inspire a new generation of artists, thinkers, tinkerers, engineers, and scientists.

- NASA

When I was a kid, I always wondered what was beyond the sky. Is it really the place where god lives or is there something else? I eventually found answers through books and the internet.

What if we never did space research?
Well, people would still think that the sun rotates around the Earth and that the Earth is flat. Sounds a bit weird to imagine right?

We human beings have been venturing into space since October 4, 1957, when the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics(USSR) launched Sputnik, the first artificial satellite to orbit Earth. Since then, space exploration has been one of the most unifying, borderless human endeavors to date. An international partnership of five space agencies from 15 countries operates the international space station and two dozen countries have signed the Artemis Accords, signaling their commitment to shared values for long-term human exploration and research at the Moon.

Through the years, research has been helping mankind in many ways

Our Future in Space

The human race has existed as a separate species for about 0.3 million years. Civilization began about 6,000 years ago, and the rate of development has been steadily increasing. If the human race is to continue for another million years, we will have to boldly go where no one has gone before. Space exploration is going to become the future of the world. We should not be surprised to see people living in space by the end of the 21st century.

I think the human race doesn't have a future if it doesn't go into space.
