We use it to connect with friends and family, share our thoughts and experiences, and even find love.     For example, social media can contribute to unhealthy comparision and unrealistic for what relationships are supposed to be like, and couples may spend more time curating an "image" of who they are rather than focusing on the relationship itself.

             Now a days every one uses social media ,usage of these social media it have both positive and negative impacts on relationships.
The Positive Impact of Social Media on Relationships:    

  •  In addition social media has helps to connect with long distance relationships. With videocalls ,instant messages and various social media platforms.

  • Social media has made it easier for people to connect with each other. through  social media we can find and connect with people from all over the world who shares our intrests and values This has led to many new relationships and friendships that would not have been possible without social media.

  • Another positive impact of social media on relationships is that it has made it easier for people to express their feelings. Many people find it easier to express their thoughts and feelings through social media than in person.

  • Social media helped many people to communicate with more effectively to family and friends

The Negative Impact of Social Media on Relationships:
                     

  • Social media has also some negative impact on relationship. One of the biggest negative social media impact of the relationships to decreasing the quality time spent with their family and friends

  • People that use social media excessively try to avoid conversation with their family members as they post everything on social media. They try to find answers to all their problems online

  • social media has changed how we interact with each other. Multiple types of research have shown that increased usage of social media has had a negative effect on marriages and relationships.

  • Usage of social media is leads to so many problems in relationships including infidelity, conflicts, jealousy, and eventually divorce

 Tips to manage social media use in relationships:

Here are some practical tips for managing social media use in relationships:
  • Set clear boundaries: it’s important to have open and honest conversations with you partner/friends/families about your social media  and how it affects your relationship.togather ,you can  set clear boundaries around when and how you use social media
  • Enhanced communication: social media has made  it easier for people to stay connected with friends and family and this had led to stronger relationships between them.
  • set aside a time to scroll: whether  that be every hour few hours,designate 15-20 minutes to getting on social media, answering texts, or taking calls to avoid the constant urge to get on your phone and focus on quality time with your family/friends   

Conclusion:
   In conclusion, social media has both positive and negative impacts on relationships and intimacy. While it has made it easier to connect with others and express our feelings, it can also lead to negative things such as jealousy. However, by regulating our use and setting boundaries, you can use social media to make a positive impact on your relationship.
