The impact of social media on relationships

Social media has had a profound impact on modern relationships, both positive and negative. While it can be a great way to stay connected with loved ones and find resources and support, it can also distract from face-to-face communication, promote unrealistic expectations, and facilitate jealousy and insecurity.

Communication: Social media platforms offer convenient ways for couples to stay in touch, especially in long-distance relationships. They can chat, make video calls, and share updates easily.
Sharing Moments: Couples can share their experiences, photos, and memories with a wider network, allowing friends and family to stay updated on their relationship.

→Jealousy and Insecurity: Seeing a partner interacting with others on social media can trigger jealousy and insecurity, especially if comments or likes from others are interpreted negatively.
