"The Role of Technology in Shaping Our Future"

"Technology", is the word that reminds us of the new-age gadgets and gizmos, ranging from the new small 5g smartphones that are being held in our hands, to the newest type of Artificial Intelligence that can design robots and evolve in seconds. But surprisingly, the word does not just imply that, but its actual meaning, according to the greeks was, "knowledge of how to make things". It might seem like all technology is only electronic, but that's just modern technology. In fact, a hammer and the wheel are two examples of early human technology. Now that the common misconception about meaning of the word is out of our way, let us think bout an important question now, "Why is technology even needed in our lives and what affect does it have on our upcoming generations"

Technology has a big impact on people. It changes how we do things, connects us, and makes life easier. It can be super helpful, but too much of it might sometimes make us feel disconnected or overwhelmed. It's like a powerful tool that can change and shape our lives in many ways. A better description of technology would be "a double sided sword". When harnessed with proper care, can become a marvel or a wonder, but at the same time, if utilized improperly, it might lead to a disaster.

THE BENEFICIAL ADVANTAGES
The uses and the postive impacts of technology in our lives are limitless, as they have helped us achieve a different level and state of comfort and joy and peace, with its immensely helpful tools, machines and methods of various kinds. Our day to day life would cease to exist, if it isn't for the technology that has been aiding us. The help from teachnology can be something as simple as a phone, which has access to the internet, and also possible of reaching out to anyone in the world at any time, and satisfying our daily needs and also something as life changing as the medical advancements, which have helped in saving many lives. There have been many instants in the past, where many deadly diseases, threatened the existence of humanity, but now, as we are advancing towards the future, we are able to predict and prevent various lethal diseases, and increase human longevity with better treatments due to the tremendously precise medical technology that are being developed over the time.

One other significant mark of the technology on our lives, is the interconnectedness, around the world. With the significant rise of instant communication through technology, the world had became a smaller place, and this has also helped us to empower global communities, from one end to another end of the world. So in the distant future, there might be a complete virtual interaction which might feel as realistic as a physical one, while crossing all the geographical boundaries.
When it comes to the topic of the economic, and job generating part of the technology, the impact is very immense and intense than ever. The production of technology requires, a whole lot of people working in a specific part and branch of science, which creates enormous opportunities for many. And the recent development of Artificial Intelligence and Automation not only made the lives of employees of various sectors easy, but it has also led to the opening of doors of new opportunities.
In total, as said above, in any sector, the applications, uses, advantages and opportunities due to technology, are limitless, promising a world of improved health, connectivity, sustainability, and overall well-being.

THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN

The Other Side Of The Coin
While having its stupendous advantages in various sectors, it has also has its own, fair share of flaws in all of them. And the flaws begin from something as simple as virtual interaction, to far greater sensitive problems like, environmental issues, depletion of opportunities with the growth of AI and Automation, social isolation, dependency, addiction, mental issues, misinformation and many more.

The growth of virtual interaction is wonderful, as the geographical separation doesn't matter, but it leads to the decrease in ability to have physical interactions and have proper mental health with the addiction of everything becoming virtual. The production of technology leads to various environmental issues which are harming the safety of every living being. And finally, AI and Automation, biggest threats of employment in the coming years, as they are able to replace many workers and employees with ease, so they haven't just opened the doors to new opportunities, but they also closed the door, to a whole lot of opportunities, that places many, in dire situations.

THE FUTURE

How futuristic is the future technology?
Now, it's clearly evident why, technology can be called as a "doubled sided sword". Undoubtedly it has both pros and cons, and if it is developed or advanced in the wrong direction, it might lead to some distressing and dreadful situations for all the humanity. But if harnessed and led to evolve in good faith, the future of the humanity will be filled with even more comfort and joy. And who knows, in the distant future, we might have flying cars, and fictional movies like Star Wars might become reality. Because the technology can shape our future, so much more, than what we can imagine.
