Most of the faculty members are graduates from top colleges like the IITs. Our principal is also a postgraduate from IIT Delhi. The average age of the junior faculty is around 35 years and that of the senior faculty is around 47 years. Most of the faculty members are thoroughly experienced in industrial work as well as in the field of teaching. Hence they can teach and relate their subjects with practical examples, enabling students to learn better

Infrastructure

The GayatriVidya Parishad College of Engineering [GVPCE] had its humble beginning in December 1996 with 4 branches and 200 intakes established under the parent society ‘Gayatri Vidya Parishad’(GVP), a non-profitable organization comprising noted educationists and eminent philanthropists who have a missionary zeal to provide quality technical education. From that point on, the college has very quickly established itself as one of the most-preferred self-financing engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh offering 10 B. Tech. Programs, 9 M.Tech. and one MCA Program approved by AICTE with an intake of 1362.

My Campus Life

This is the college for the people who always want to study. They don't conduct any type of fests in here. If also they conduct it was rare and they put several restrictions such as not to celebrate in western-style only wear the classic style and so more. There are about 2 floors of the library in which they had a digital library in it and so many numbers of books. They conduct the league matches in Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton..etc on occasions. Also, there are several types of clubs here and they are run by the students such as the YES, Rotract, YFSR... etc

How I joined

The admission process which I went through is a bit hassle-free. Eligibility for this course is appearing for the EAPCET exam after intermediate. After getting a better rank I opted for this college in counseling held online. So after securing the seat I went to the college and filled out all the necessary applications required to get into the college. I also got the reservation for my Open Category with a fee reimbursement of 35000 from the govt of ANDHRA PRADESH. So I paid a total fee of 70000 to the college

To know more about the fee structure please click the link:http://www.gvpce.ac.in/feestruc.html

Scholarships for Merit Students

The fee is about 75,000 for the people who are not having any JVD. People who are having JVD can pay only 6,000 per year and the 3rd category is also there i.e; Category B which is known as the people joined by paying the donation. They should pay 1,08,500 per year. There are several types of scholarships in this college to pay fees and also to avail the stipends by doing the internships. You can also get the fees concession in the college hostel by JVD. They can get about 20% of the concession in their fees of the hostel.

Internships and Opportunities

There are some opportunities like Training in APPSDC on different technologies and for core, side students training in steel plant, dockyard, etc. Internship opportunities will be availed in the 7th semester. They can be provided by the College only by the dean of placements, The Companies such as the MIRACLE software solutions, and some other startups started by our seniors. Doing internships provides us an experience of workload and many more etc. The internships which we did can be used in the job interviews which can give us scope in the particular topic or course etc.

My Campus Placements

From the sixth semester onwards students can be eligible for the campus placements here. It is the starting phase for the placements and it ends in the eighth semester. Based on the last year's placements list, there are about 1300 placements taken place in this college out of many people. The average salaries are 4,00,000 per annum. The top companies such as the TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Amazon... etc visited for the recruitment in this college. More than 80% of the people getting placed here. My plans after the degree were to settle in an MNC company and study in foreign for the Ph.D. after a year of my job.
