How do different regions celebrate Sankranthi with unique activities like Bhogi, Kanuma, and Pongal?

Sankranthi is a festival celebrated in many states in many styles. For example, in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana , the first day of Pongal is celebrated as Bhogi, where people celebrate it as an account of throwing away old ones and restoring good ones; so they celebrate it by burning away any waste material in their houses and celebrate it by dancing around the fires. They bath freshly by starting their first day of pongal and fresh up. During bhogi, in some states they pepare sweeta and their main dish is khichdi and kudum which we most enjoy during the day.

In Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, Sankranthi is mainly celebrated grandly by flying kites and playing games and races. They enjoy very much by flying kites all day and having fun. Flying, cutting, they are very happy.

In many villages, they celebrate as an account of the end of winter season and a starting of summer season where they get a lot of crop and they will be very happy as they will then sell their large produce and they celebrate by decorating oxen and cows grandly and doing pujas at their home happily.

Another day which is grandly celebrated is Kanuma. They start by eating non-veg and they enjoy that day. Non-veg sellers are full of money that day or before because almost everybody purchases non-veg and shops are very busy.

Children have holidays as an account of pongal vacation and they enjoy their time. They celebrate the festivals, and play all day and enjoy their remaining holidays.

So pongal is a lapse where all people enjoy and pray to god. They worship, eat special dishes on the separate day, and finally enjoy the time.
