SMART INDIA HACKATHON
Smart India Hackathon is a National wide platform initiated to enhance and utilize the innovation and creativity of students which helps the nation.

In this many organizations which contribute to our nation will provide some problem statements which thattudents have to solve and give a solution/idea to eradicate the problem. This Hackathon is organized by Ministthe ry of Education along with AICTE,MOE Innovation cell and Persistent under Governthe ment of India.

In this event, there are 550+ problems relating to various topics like Agriculture, Food tech and Rural Development, Block Chain and Cyber Security, Clean and Green Technology, Disaster Management, Heritage and Culture, Smart Automation, Smart Education, Smart Vehicles, Robotics and drones, etc and these problem statements are given by various organizations like Volvo, Autodesk, DRDO, ISRO, etc.
We have chosen a problem statement given by Autodesk Pvt.4Ltd. and it comes under Smart Automation with PSID: AV1235.

The problem statement is Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) is the use of software and computer-controlled machinery to automate a manufacturing process. Based on that definition, you need three components for a CAM system to function: Software that tells a machine how to make a product by generating toolpaths. Machinery that can turn raw material into a finished product. Post Processing converts toolpaths into a language machines can understand. From high-efficiency roughing with Adaptive Clearing to simplified control of multi-axis machines with Tool Orientation, Autodesk Fusion 360 makes it easy to program your CNC machine, fast. Manufacture with 2.5, 3, 4, and 5-axis milling, probing, turning, mill-turning, and profiling operations paired with a powerful post engine all included alongside professional design tools. Students are supposed to use Fusion 360 Software to generate NC code with machine details & tool library. Mentor will help to manufacture the metal component using CNC machine & NC code generated by participants.”
