Globalization and Indian Society

What is globalisation?

Globalization means how trade and technology and changes in economy and cultures have made the world more fastened, interdependent, and secure.

Impact of Globalisation on Indian Society.
Beneficial Impact of Globalisation
Globalization has a vast impact on social empowerment like exchanging ideas, fashion, cultures, relationships with
people, etc. This makes us more connected with others and allows us to get more advanced and aware of the present world. Globalization comes up with a building block feature called regionalism, which allows us to maintain a balanced economic power between regions.

It also has led to economic growth, increased access to education and technology, improved healthcare, cultural exchange, and the reduction of poverty in some regions. Globalization has also led to the creation of new jobs, particularly in the service sector.

Adverse effects of Globalisation
Globalization has also led to increased competition, which has put some Indian businesses at risk. Globalization has also had a significant impact on Indian culture. It has led to increased exposure to foreign cultures, which has influenced Indian culture in several ways. It has led to the increased popularity of Western fashion, music, and movies. Globalization also led to the increased use of English in India. It also led to a renewed interest in Indian culture and heritage. It also changed the racial demography of India, leading to increased attacks on racial minorities. It has threatened the culture, livelihood, and environment of marginalized groups.

Therefore it is important to carefully manage the process of Globalization to ensure that its benefits are shared equitably and that its negative impacts are minimised.

Let's prove the theory called Unity in Diversity
