Hey ,

I am participating in

Edgroom's Educators Excellence Awards - 2024

Here are the reasons why you should vote for me!

What are your primary teaching methods (e.g., lecture, discussion, project-based learning, etc.)? How do you combine these methods to create an effective learning environment?

Being a physics teacher, I believe in active learning process through interactive activities like group work, discussions, and hands-on projects. Also tailoring lessons to accomodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

What instructional materials and resources do you use to enhance student learning (e.g., textbooks, technology, activities)?

Curriculum textbooks are my first priority and also integrating resources like digital resources to bring complex concepts to life.

In your opinion how AI(artificial intelligence) is going to help Teachers in making learning a more effective.

By leveraging AI, we can focus on high impact teaching activities that makes the learning process effective and enjoyable for students. It also allows the educators to cater the needs of every learner. In my opinion AI can enhance and support the teaching process, but it's unlikely to fully replace teachers. Teachers play a crucial role in motivating, inspiring and addressing the unique needs of students that AI can't.

Describe your strategies for motivating and engaging students in learning.

By connecting lessons to real world applications and students personal interest, that increases their intrinsic motivation and engagement.

How do you support students with different learning styles and abilities?

I ensure that each student receives the appropriate level of support and challenge especially the slow learners and the high achievers by providing multiple resources. I try to give personalized feedback to address each student's unique needs and guide their learning process.

What are the flaws in our present education system in India and what are your suggestions to improve it?

Lack of critical thinking, Examination pressure, standardized testing that limits creativity, curriculum rigidity, stress on teachers that reduces effective teaching, rote learning. I suggest to revise the curriculum to include problem solving, project based learning, encouraging interdisciplinary learning, updating modern teaching techniques to teachers, focus on holistic development of the students.
