Hey ,

I am participating in

Edgroom's Educators Excellence Awards - 2024

Here are the reasons why you should vote for me!

What are your primary teaching methods (e.g., lecture, discussion, project-based learning, etc.)? How do you combine these methods to create an effective learning environment?

Discussion, Hands-on activities

What instructional materials and resources do you use to enhance student learning (e.g., textbooks, technology, activities)?

As a Physics/Chemistry teacher, I prefer using models, lab equipment and even videos/animations which are interactive

In your opinion how AI(artificial intelligence) is going to help Teachers in making learning a more effective.

AI can become the best teaching aid for a teacher as it can be more effective than a mere lecture by a teacher. Teachers can go hand-in-hand with AI but AI can't substitute a teacher.

Describe your strategies for motivating and engaging students in learning.

* Devise pedagogy basing on the type of learner * Make the learners aware of the objectives of learning a particular topic * Using the latest technology available and including them wherever possible in the teaching-learning process *Giving timely feedback about the progress of the learner *Give them diverse worksheets to enforce learning

How do you support students with different learning styles and abilities?

*Differential teaching wherever possible *Devising activities catering different types of learners in a class - Kinesthetic, Auditory, Visual, & Verbal

What are the flaws in our present education system in India and what are your suggestions to improve it?

*Though there's a paradigm shift in the teaching-learning methods, rote-learning method is still prevalent in certain parts of the country which should be discouraged *The Indian Government has come up with a very ideal education policy NEP 2020, the implementation of it barely seen in the nation *To cater the needs of nearly a billion learners in India, there isn't sufficient infrastructure *Due to insufficient infrastructure the learners who have a zeal to learn or sharpen their creative brain are being deprived of necessary resources
