IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON RELATIONSHIPS

Introduction:
Today, the social media is playing a major role in everyone's life. It became like a habit of being in a social media 24/7.  Nowadays, people are preferring social media than the relationships they have and there is a hidden magic in the social media that  attracts all the people towards it. But we cannot say that it is good or bad to use. There are pros as well as cons of social media. Now let us discuss about pros and cons.
Pros:
When our loved ones are far away from us, social media provides convenient to communicate. We can text,video call our loved ones to communicate with them.Also we can share our day to day experience on social media and this can help us to strengthen the bonds. And also there are some platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram where we can reconnect with our old friends. 
Cons:
We know that there are many people who are sharing their personal information in the social media and creating an exposure to the society of their life but this leads to unintended consequences. Also there is a situation that the people themselves compare with other people on social media.This creates a jealousy among the people and can strain the relationships or friendships. And sometimes there arises a misunderstandings between people due to the wrong conveying and understanding of content. 
Conclusion:
Social media has reshaped the landscape of relationships, offering both opportunities for connection and challenges to overcome. To maintain a healthy relationship, one should have open communication and healthy boundaries mainly prefer face to face interactions. And at the end it depends on the people how they use this social media platform.
